Purpose Statement
The purpose of the non profit corporation is to provide a safe environment for self discovery and the understanding of the “unspoken effects of PTSD”. By providing an environment free of trigger points, our participants will have the opportunity to experience the empowerment to move safely towards their recovery journey.

She loves and is compassionate about helping others through difficult times and always takes a positive approach towards the healing process.

Heather has extensive leadership experience in relationship development, management and marketing at companies ranging from pre-revenue startups to industry giants such as General Electric, Johnson & Johnson and Procter & Gamble. She was part of the US SheEO launch team in 2016. In addition, Heather is an internationally-acclaimed keynote speaker on topics ranging from mental health to the importance of funding diverse companies. Heather serves as an advisor on founder mental health.

I am a husband, father, "Llama-quero", career firefighter, paramedic, paraglider and peer Support Team Coordinator. I have experienced both the devastating effects of PTSD and the healing restorative support of mental health professionals. I am grateful to partner with H4H in their critical work with our community. Along with my family we have supported special needs individuals from age 5-25 for the last 20 years. I am grateful to serve H4H.
George is the co-founder of "A Haven for Heroes". He was compelled by his own PTSD experiences to help others find their healing path. He is a Denver native, a highly decorated Navy veteran and a 30 year structural fire fighter. He is Jesuit educated, a "Man for others", and has a Masters in Management. George brings global volunteer experience along with personal recovery to share with H4H.
